Wes was born in Waycross, GA and moved to Albany in 1974. He is a graduate of Westover High School, attended Darton College while playing tennis on scholarship, and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting at Georgia Southwestern University.
While Wes derives great joy from his work, he also enjoys an active lifestyle which includes playing tennis and trying to stay fit. He and his wife, Izzie are Captains of their mixed doubles tennis team and attend Providence Church.
Wes and Izzie have three wonderful children.



Since investment and tax concerns can be very complex, education and knowledge is key to providing the best service and information possible. Although Wes maintains the proper securities and insurance licenses, he believes that enhanced education is essential to providing the highest level of service to his clients, and makes research and education a priority for this reason.

In 2005, Wes completed the CFP® Certification Curriculum and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation. Wes has completed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professional, Wes provides education and help to investors facing retirement or already retired. He has presented seminars and written numerous articles and newsletters geared toward helping individuals preserve what they have spent a lifetime accumulating.
